Commissioner Bill Rivenbark was born and raised in New Hanover County. He is a retired entrepreneur having run a successful business in the restaurant and materials management industries. He has spent many years giving back to his community as a volunteer in the schools, with the Wilmington Hammerheads Youth Soccer Club, and with his church. He has also recently served as a member of the New Hanover County Board of Education.
Bill's greatest joys come from time spent with his family, wife of 30 years, Tina, three daughters Monaca Lachman, Melissa Biggs, and Alex Rivenbark, and their families. The Rivenbarks love their coastal lifestyle and exploring our world through travel.
